Questions & Answers
Everything you need to know
Answers to the most common questions about our peptides, quality standards, ordering process, and research use policies.
Product & Quality
Every released lot is verified at 99% or higher by third-party HPLC-MS. The measured figure for each lot is on its COA; we publish the actual result, not a minimum.
Our peptides are synthesised in GMP-compliant facilities. Each manufacturing run is documented and traceable to the raw amino acid inputs. We do not source from unverified overseas brokers.
Open the Lab Results page and locate your compound and lot number (printed on the vial label). Each COA includes the HPLC chromatogram and the mass-spectrometry identity confirmation for that specific lot. If your lot number doesn't appear, contact us before use.
Yes. Our standard panel includes HPLC purity, mass spectrometry identity confirmation, endotoxin (LAL), and heavy metals screening. Results for each test are included in the published CoA.
Every one. Before a lot is listed for sale, we send a sample to an independent, US-based analytical laboratory. The lab confirms identity by liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and measures purity by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). A lot is released only if it clears our purity threshold, and its Certificate of Analysis is published to the Lab Results page before the first vial ships. You can check the exact lot you receive against the exact document we published.
Lyophilization freezes the peptide in solution and then removes the water under vacuum, leaving a dry, stable solid. Peptides are supplied this way because the reactions that degrade them — hydrolysis, aggregation, microbial growth — all require water. Removing it keeps the compound stable through shipping and storage.
Sealed lyophilized vials remain stable for up to 24 months when stored frozen at −20 °C. Refrigerate at 2–8 °C for short-term storage.
On arrival and for short-term storage, refrigerate sealed vials at 2–8 °C, away from light and moisture. For longer holds, store frozen at −20 °C or below. Handle under standard laboratory practice.
Each order ships in protective packaging with insulated padding to protect the vials in transit. Peptides are supplied as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in clear glass vials. Inside the vial you'll typically see a thin white film, a small cake or disc, or a loose powder settled on the bottom or side — all normal presentations of a freeze-dried solid. Copper-containing compounds (GHK-Cu) are naturally blue; 5-Amino-1MQ is orange. Neither is a defect.
Because the freeze-dried form doesn't need them. Without water present, the compound tolerates the ordinary temperature swings of a parcel in transit. Lyophilized peptides remain stable at ambient temperature for up to two weeks, well beyond any normal delivery window, so a delayed package is not a compromised package. Refrigerate on arrival.
Ordering & Payment
We accept Visa, American Express, and Discover. Available options are always displayed at checkout before you pay.
Orders enter fulfillment as soon as payment clears, and we pack quickly, so we can't promise changes or cancellations after checkout. If something needs fixing, email info@methodesciences.com immediately and we'll try to catch it before it leaves. Full terms are in our Shipping & Returns Policy.
No. Once submitted, an order can't be modified. Place a second order for additional items.
No. Codes are applied in the cart before payment and can't be added to a completed order.
Yes. We sell exclusively through our own website. We have no presence on Telegram, WhatsApp, Amazon, eBay, or social media storefronts, and we do not authorize resellers. If a listing or account elsewhere claims to offer Methode Sciences products, it is not us. Check the URL before you buy.
Shipping & Delivery
Within the United States and Puerto Rico only. We do not ship internationally or to freight forwarders.
Monday through Friday, excluding US holidays. Orders paid before 12:00 PM PST on a business day ship the same or next business day. Orders after the cutoff, or on weekends and holidays, ship the next business day.
Most packages arrive 2–3 business days after dispatch.
Free on orders over $199; flat $14.99 below that. The exact charge is shown at checkout before you pay.
Primarily UPS, with USPS for select orders. Your shipping confirmation names the carrier and includes the tracking number.
Immediately after dispatch, by email and in your account's Orders tab. Allow up to one business day for the carrier's system to update.
Lyophilised peptides are sealed under inert gas, packed with desiccant, and shipped in insulated packaging. We use discreet, unmarked outer packaging.
Check the delivery area, building mailroom, and anyone at the address who might have accepted it, and allow 24 hours — carriers sometimes scan "delivered" before the package is physically dropped. If it's still missing, open a claim with the carrier (UPS: file a claim · USPS: missing mail search). Once the carrier confirms the package is lost, send us your order number and the carrier case number and we'll resolve it.
Email us immediately. If the order hasn't shipped, we'll correct it. If it has, the carrier controls the package, but you can often redirect or hold it yourself through UPS Change My Delivery or by contacting USPS with the tracking number. If an incomplete address bounces the package back to us, we'll reship once you confirm the corrected address.
Contact the carrier first — they run the trace, and the recipient has to open the case. UPS claims can be filed any time; USPS missing-mail searches open seven days after the ship date. When the carrier closes the case, email us the order number and case number and we'll make it right.
Email info@methodesciences.com within 7 calendar days of delivery with your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photos of the product and packaging. Keep the item sealed. Verified claims are resolved with a replacement, store credit, or refund.
Returns & Refunds
All sales are final. Research compounds can't be returned to inventory once they've left our control, so orders can't be cancelled, returned, or refunded after payment clears — regardless of whether they've shipped or arrived. The exceptions are orders that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, which we replace or refund per the process above. See the Shipping & Returns Policy for full terms.
Email info@methodesciences.com with your order number and a clear description of the issue. We'll investigate and get back to you.
Research Use & Compliance
No. All products sold by Methode Sciences are strictly for in-vitro research and laboratory use only. They are not approved by the FDA for human or veterinary administration and must not be used as drugs, food additives, or dietary supplements.
Our products are intended for licensed researchers, academic institutions, and qualified laboratory professionals. By placing an order you confirm that you are purchasing for legitimate scientific research purposes only.
We may request documentation verifying your research affiliation for certain products or order quantities. This is part of our commitment to responsible distribution and compliance with applicable regulations.
No. Our team can help with orders, shipping, and batch documentation. We do not provide protocols, usage guidance, or answers to questions about administration — this is a fixed policy that follows from the research-use-only status of everything we sell, not something we evaluate case by case. Experimental design, execution, and regulatory compliance are the sole responsibility of the qualified researcher or institution. Published specifications describe a compound's physical and chemical properties for reference and are not instructions.
Research Use Only
All products are sold strictly for in-vitro research purposes. Not for human or animal administration. Not approved by the FDA. Methode Sciences assumes no liability for misuse of research materials.
